European markets were trading higher on Friday as trading
resumed after the Christmas break. Europe's leading blue-chip index
for the Eurozone, Euro STOXX 50 gained 20.01 points or 0.65% to
trade at 3,092.89.
French benchmark index CAC 40 rose 25.15 points or 0.60% to
trade at 4,243.56.
UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 went up 31.62 points or 0.47% to
trade at 6,725.79. Germany's benchmark index DAX increased 67.89
points or 0.72% to trade at 9,556.71.
