T he Embassy of Sweden is organising a photo exhibition as  part of the Sweden India Nobel Memorial Week in association with the Green Building Congress at HICC.

The Sweden India Nobel Memorial Week is a high-profile, multi-city, multi-activity annual event organized by the Embassy in India in cooperation with partner companies. The week is instituted in memory of  Swedish innovator, entrepreneur and philanthropist Alfred Nobel and celebrates Indian Nobel  Laureates as well.

The theme for the sixth edition of The Sweden-India Nobel Memorial Week is ‘The Energy of Innovation: Co-Creating the Future’ and is taking place across New Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune and Mumbai between October 29 - November 4.

The collection of photographs are artistically captured images portraying Swedish innovations and their Indian interpretations. In a span of less than two months, when the photo competition was open for the citizens of India, over 450 entries were submitted by established and aspiring photographers. The exhibition is a result of the competition, displaying a select few chosen by a jury which includes Ajay Rajgarhia, fine art photographer, Anushka Menon, commercial photographer, Atul Bakshi, glass artist, Pratiksha Apurv, artist, Rajeev Locahn, director at National Gallery of  Modern Arts, New Delhi, Saloni Zaveri-Ahluwalia, Sara Aulin and Ake Peterson from Embassy of Sweden.

The selected entries will be published in the book with the same title while a winner will be announced when the exhibition moves to Delhi later this week, who will receive a cash prize.
