Two of Ajith’s films which are in different stages of production seem to have finally found a title. Director Vishnuvardhan who worked with Ajith in 'Billa' seems to have titled his new project with the actor as 'Garvam'. Meanwhile, the other film by Siva who directed 'Siruthai' has been titled 'Vetri Kondaan'. While both the names are yet to be officially confirmed, sources say that Anushka Shetty has been roped in to play Ajith’s heroine in 'Vetri Kondaan'. It should be noted that the title of the Vinay Rai starrer 'Jeyam Kondaan' (2008) is extremely similar. Ajith will begin shooting for this film after completing Vishnuvardhan's flick.
Meanwhile, the shooting of 'Garvam' seems to be going on at a rapid pace. The film also has Arya, Nayanthara, Taapsee and Rana Daggubati in important roles. Composer Yuvan Shankar Raja has scored the music. Sources in the industry have revealed that the ‘ultimate star’ has been working out hard to fit the role he plays in the movie.
For hardcore Ajith fans, who can’t wait till the end of the year to see their thala on screen, 'English Vinglish' which releases on October 5, might provide some relief. Ajith has done a cameo appearance in the Sridevi-starrer.
Also, Ajith along with his wife Shalini and daughter Anoushka recently attended actor Richard’s engagement with legendary poet Kannadasan’s granddaughter Sathyalakshmi.
