European Council President António Costa described the Security and Defence Partnership as “the first overarching defence and security framework between India and the EU.”
The government said the Budget session would primarily focus on the Budget, and said other issues could be raised during the debate on the Motion of Thanks to the President’s Address.
The Haryana government took the initiative by writing to Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, inviting him for talks, which were subsequently accepted.
