At the meeting, Pawan Kalyan will reveal the party’s policies, ideology, framework, hierarchy and other details. Party sources said youth are be their target audience for the meeting.

Students of various degree and engineering colleges, besides Andhra and Gitam universities are learnt to be playing an active role, in association with Pawan Kalyan fans, to mobilise a large number of youth. Party leaders and fans have been visiting various colleges in the region ever since Pawan Kalyan announced the party, to garner support for Jana Sena.

The fans have sought permission for bike and car rallies, but police are yet to take a decision. However, at least 300 cars and 40 buses have been hired by the partymen to bring youth from the neighbouring districts of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, East Godavari and West Godavari. “We expect at least one lakh people to attend the meeting from these districts, in addition to another one lakh people from in and around Visakhapatnam city. All arrangements have been made for accommodating comfortably one lakh people inside the stadium, and another one lakh can watch the proceedings live on LED screens outside the stadium,” said M Raghava Rao, a member of the party and also Pawan Kalyan Fans Association in Visakhapatnam. Further, arrangements are being made for live telecast of the event across the state.

The organisers have already flown down to the city on Wednesday and visited the venue to check if all arrangements were in place. Pawan Kalyan is scheduled to arrive on Thursday morning and will stay at a star hotel on the beach road before proceeding to the meeting venue in the evening. Besides spelling out party policies at the meeting, he is expected to release “ISM”, a book that he had co-authored with his friend Raju Ravitej. While Ravitej will be present on the stage for a only a couple of minutes for the book release, the actor is likely to introduce his key party members to the audience. However, only Pawan will occupy the stage for most of the meeting duration.

The meeting will start at 4 pm with cultural activities and Pawan is likely to address the gathering around 6 pm.

Sources in party office in Hyderabad said Pawan Kalyan plans to conduct two more meetings over the next month, exclusively to address tribals and women. While the meeting with tribals is tentatively decided to be held in Adilabad, the meeting with women is likely to be held in Rayalaseema or Vijayawada. “The party president (Pawan Kalyan) would reveal his future plans at one of these meetings,” sources said.

It is learnt that the actor-turned-politician is unlikely to contest in the ensuing elections and confine himself to establishing the party in Telangana and Andhra states, apart from extending support to the BJP. It is yet to be seen if the actor would give clarity on his poll plans.
