The leaders said that the farmers wanted to pose questions to PM Narendra Modi during his Patiala visit on Thursday and if they are not given access, they will hold a dharna.
The EC came down heavily on the ruling BJP and opposition Congress, asking them to desist from campaigning along caste, community, language, and religious lines.
