The court also sought the victim's reply on Sengar's appeal challenging his conviction and imprisonment till remainder of his natural life.
Sengar challenged the December 20 verdict of a trial court here which had sentenced him to life imprisonment and had imposed an exemplary fine of Rs 25 lakh in the case.
Prashant Upadhyaya had treated the Unnao rape victim's father in April 2018 after he had been brutally thrashed in police custody.
District Judge Dharmesh Sharma imposed an exemplary fine of Rs 25 lakh in the case which has to be paid within a month.
The court had on Monday convicted the expelled BJP MLA for the rape of the woman in 2017, when she was a minor.
