Sun Pharma drops after USFDA import ban on Gujarat plant

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, an international, integrated, speciality pharmaceutical company, dropped on Thursday after United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) imposed an import alert, effectively a ban, on the company's Gujarat plant. Shares ofthe companyare trading at Rs 580.95, down Rs 23.05, or 3.82% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Thursday at 11:33 a.m.The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 610 and low of Rs 565.60. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 414,648.In the earlier session, the shares climbed 4.08%, or Rs 23.65, at Rs 604. Currently, the stock is trading down 11.05% from its 52-week high of Rs 653.10 and above 43.27% over the 52-week low of Rs 405.50.
