European stocks negative in early trade

European markets were negative in early trade on Thursday. Europe's leading blue-chip index for the Eurozone, Euro STOXX 50 went down 0.68 or 0.02% points to trade at 3,097.27.

UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 decreased 9.21 points or 0.14% to trade at 6,560.21.

French benchmark index CAC 40 fell 2.82 points or 0.07% to trade at 4,309.98.

Meanwhile, Germany's benchmark index DAX went up 12.23 points or 0.13% to trade at 9,609.
