Karnataka  Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC)  president G Parameshwar said that the first BJP government in the South has disappointed people of the state and threw them into uncertainty.

He urged the government to seek a fresh mandate.

He told reporters here on Sunday that the ruling BJP  has been divided into three and entire administration has come to a standstill.

Former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa, who claimed that the BJP has come to power only because of him, has divided the party into pieces for his selfish motives, he said.

Parameshwar opined that the BJP leadership, which asked CM to drop Puttaswamy from the ministry and suspended Tumkur MP Basavaraj from the party, should also take action against all those who participated in the KJP convention.

“But the BJP in the state is shameless. It wants the government to complete its term. Hence it has tolerated all such anti-party activities. Neither the state unit nor party high command is in a position to take a disciplinary action against the people who identified with Sriramalu’s BSR Congress,” he added.

Parameshwar said that Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar  should recommend dissolution of the Assembly and seek fresh mandate, if he has the guts.
