Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh, who is suffering from dengue, is recovering at a hospital here. He has thanked his well-wishers for their support which he says has helped him "tide over my weakest hour".
The ailing actor reached out to his friends and fans via social networking platform Twitter Thursday.
"Your love and blessings have helped me fight this illness. Thank you all for the warmth and wishes that helped me tide over my weakest hour," he tweeted.
The 28-year-old was admitted to a suburban hospital here Sep 27 following high fever. Doctors diagnosed it to be a case of dengue.
He is likely to be discharged from the hospital later Thursday, a source close to the actor told IANS.
Ranveer was shooting in Durgapur, near Kolkata, for "Gunday" when he started suffering high fever. Despite the condition, he continued to shoot as per the schedule to avoid any inconvenience and loss to the production.
The actor's forthcoming movie "Ram Leela" has already created a buzz with its trailer. Ranveer is paired with actress Deepika Padukone in the movie, which has given him an ample chance to show off his chiselled physique.
"Ram Leela" will hit the screens Nov 15.
